Giving back to the community through the Edgemere Community Development Fund process.
HISTORY:
During the ULURP negotiations for the Edgemere Commons development, the Arkers Companies made several commitments including a $2 million investment in the surrounding communities of the development. With each phase of the project, a new installment of funding will be placed in the fund and allocated to local community groups. The funds, the application, and the allocation of the funds will be managed by the Far Rockaway Arverne Nonprofit Coalition and The Fund for The City of New York.
