FRANC has initiated the Winter phase of the Edgemere Community Development Grant. Grants of up to $3,000 will be available to support programs and/or events within the Rockaway Peninsula.
After the applications close, the top applications will be screened out and presented to a new Edgemere Community Development Advisory Committee. The committee will then vote on which applications move forward to be funded.
* Only organizations that are from the Rockaways and 501c3 certified or have a fiscal sponsor will be considered for funding. Once organizations receive their notice of approval for funding, they will have one month (30 days) to submit the required documents to complete the allocation process. If awardees are unable to submit these documents within the one-month time frame, they will forfeit their grant. Additionally, organizations will be required to include the FRANC logo on any flyers or banners created for events/programs funded by this initiative.
